TAMALONE NEW ACRES CROSSROAD 279.109 - 1979 - NL
It seems that this record was discovered by Jean Jöbses and that it was issued in 500 copies in july, 1979. It is a very nice progressive rock record, without doubts influenced by Jetrho Tull because of the voice and the acoustic guitars. In effect the flute appears in few pieces as, unfortunately, the Esther Van Der Hoorn splendid voice. The record is well producted, sung in english and the tracks are all good done, overall Moments of Grief, Song for T'Phillus and Homage to Life all with the great Jan Van Hout guitar solos, sometimes heavy progressive oriented. Years ago Stephen Smith, well known records by mail seller, wrote on one of his list that if the record was english its value would be 600 Pounds and not 60. But the record comes from Netherlands and it's possible to find it at less than 100 dollars, with the insert.
