PIERRE DE GRENOBLE PIERRE DE GRENOBLE BARCLAY 920.429-1973 - FR
One of the best French folk record. Virtually this is the first
Malicorne LP. Well played and produced by some experienced elements already with Alan Stivell , Dan ar Braas (guitar player) and others, they know very well how to shake traditional folk
with a new sound sometimes electric. The voice of Marie is great and her housband Gabriel Yacoub
plays good guitars with some electric touches giving us, sometimes, flashes of
psychedelic folk . This good record is easy to find and its value is less than 50 US Dollars.
There are two editions around: the first has the classic custard label, the second has a black label. Recommended to the folk rock fans.
